On a car ride to Chicago....

We started reading this book for the first time. Awhile back Tim bought this great Lauren Child version of the Lindgren classic for Eliza and me to share. But the first time that miss Eliza has really been ready to have a chapter book read aloud to her. So far it seems to be a big hit. Eliza keeps asking for "Pippi with the stockings.".

This is a first for both of us. Pippi was not a part of my childhood. Nor was it a book that I read to Kai and Izzy when they were younger.

So far I quite like this "Pippi with stockings!"
